SECONDARY schools throughout East Lothian have been battling it out on the basketball court.
East Lothian Schools Basketball Cup was restarted this year with competitions involving pupils in S1, under-15s and seniors.
The aim of the competition is to increase participation in the sport across the county.
The seniors’ competition finished recently with Dunbar Dynamos taking home the cup.
The senior competition was entered by Dunbar Dynamos, Dunbar Dragons, Ross High and Knox Academy, with some great matches played between the sides.
A winner is yet to be crowned in the U15s and S1 competitions, with the majority of fixtures taking place between the schools after Easter.
The younger age group features teams from North Berwick High School, Knox Academy and two sides from Dunbar Grammar School while the older category features another two teams from Dunbar Grammar School, alongside sides from Ross High School, Knox Academy and North Berwick High School.
