A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman.
Police launched an appeal last night (Wednesday) to try to find Helen Bunney, who had been missing from North Berwick.
Officers this morning confirmed that at about 7.20pm yesterday the body of a woman was found near the town.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Formal identification is still to take place however the family of Helen Bunney, who had been reported missing from North Berwick, have been informed.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
