A COUNTY couple have celebrated 60 years of happy marriage.
Gordon and Sheena Blackie (née Fairbairn) were married at Dunbar Parish Church on June 22, 1963.
Sixty years later, they were joined by Roderick Urquhart, Lord Lieutenant of East Lothian, who presented them with a card from the King congratulating them on their diamond wedding anniversary, before celebrating with family and friends at the Waterside Bistro in Haddington a few days later.
Gordon and Sheena have lived on Hopetoun Drive in Haddington for more than 50 years.
The couple have a daughter Gillian and son-in-law Iain, two granddaughters Gemma and Lyndsey and one great-granddaughter Isla.
