A licensing application has been submitted to East Lothian Council in a bid to allow the delivery of food and the sale of alcohol at the Premier Store on Muirpark Drive, Tranent.
The application has been submitted by Anila Ali.
The store is being refurbished with an added alcohol area incorporating a chilled beer cave display area.
If approved, the new licence would allow alcohol to be sold, food to be delivered and food-to-go products to be sold at the shop. The store would also be allowed to play recorded background music.
The application is now open for public comment.
