PREPARATIONS are being drawn up to mark Armistice Day in Haddington.
Groups will meet outside the town’s Corn Exchange on Sunday (November 13) at 10am.
Members of the public will then walk to St Mary’s Parish Church before wreaths are laid at the town’s war memorial.
The Rev Alison McDonald will hold a service in the church. A practice takes place next Saturday outside the church at 11.45am.
Therese Laing, chairwoman of the town’s community council, will lay a wreath in Haddington, while Malcolm Vickers, who is also a member of the community council, will lay a wreath in Athelstaneford.
