The annual beer festival at Musselburgh’s award-winning Volunteer Arms, known as Staggs bar, is making a return for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Up to 20 beers will be on offer, with eight available at any one time during the event on November 13, from 12.30pm to 11pm.
The festival is not a ticketed event so ale lovers are welcome to go along on the day.
The bar is also selling a festival t-shirt which will be sold at the event.
Staggs is no stranger to winning accolades and toasted success earlier this year after being named Pub of the Year in the Lothians for 2022 by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
Owner Nigel Finlay, whose family has owned the pub since 1858, received a framed certificate from Pat Hanson, chairman of the Edinburgh & South-East Scotland branch.
Nigel’s daughter Katie McKenzie said: “We are very excited to have the beer festival returning.
“We work in conjunction with local company Image Scotland to produce our merchandise.”
