More than £160 million could be won in tonight’s huge EuroMillions jackpot – meaning if it scooped by a British player, they will become the UK’s second biggest winner.

The current British record holder won £170 million in October 2019.

Camelot’s Andy Carter said Friday’s top prize could be secured by one ticketholder or shared between multiple winners in participating countries.

Mr Carter said: “Friday’s EuroMillions draw is set to be an exciting night as the jackpot will be a gigantic estimated £164 million.

East Lothian Courier:

“If one lucky ticket-holder scoops the jackpot, they will become the second biggest-ever National Lottery winner so we’re urging players to get their tickets early to be in with a chance of winning this incredible prize.

“National Lottery players make a huge difference to National Lottery Good Causes across the country generating more than £30 million every week.

“Thanks to National Lottery players, over £1.2 billion has been distributed to date across the UK to help tackle the impact of coronavirus.”

But if you want to to play tonight, though, you’ll have to act fast, as the draw closes at 7.30pm.

Tickets can be bought at the National Lottery website where you will have to create an account. Alternatively, you can buy tickets at participating retail outlets, newsagents, and supermarkets.

To play, pick five numbers from one to 50 and two Lucky Stars numbers from one to 12.

You can play up to seven lines of numbers and buy up to ten play slips at a time.

A ticket costs £2.50 and includes automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw, which guarantees to create new UK millionaires every week.

The draw can be watched on the national lottery website at about 8.45pm.
