THE newly refurbished Marine Hotel in North Berwick has had a ‘soft launch’ and will next week announce its official reopening date.
The B-Listed hotel on Cromwell Road has been closed since the start of the year and has undergone major refurbishment works, with much of its interior upgraded.
Those at the hotel are keeping tight-lipped about when it will be ready to fully reopen, among other details, but did confirm to the Courier that it will be opening in stages.
This means that the accommodation will open first, followed by the restaurants and bars.
The Marine was bought from Macdonald Hotels by Chicago-based Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital last year. AJ Capital also owns The Marine Hotel in Troon and Rusacks in St Andrews.
