TWENTY-SIX new jobs have been created as the new Food Warehouse store in Haddington Retail Park opened its doors today (Tuesday), the second store in the site to do so.
Part of the Iceland family, the store is the first Food Warehouse store to open in East Lothian but the second from Iceland, joining the Iceland store in Musselburgh.
The weather made it a slow start to the day but as the sun began to shine, the customers began to flock with a steady stream having a browse and picking up bargains all day.
Costa is the only other store open at the new retail park by Gateside in Haddington, with Aldi and Home Bargains due to open in the coming weeks.
Aldi is due to open next month and Home Bargains on October 16.
