THE four candidates looking to become East Lothian’s next MSP will come under the microscope tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.
Dunbar Churches Together and Sustaining Dunbar are hosting a virtual hustings.
Euan Davidson (Liberal Democrat), Craig Hoy (Conservative), Paul McLennan (SNP) and Martin Whitfield (Labour) will all be in attendance.
The hustings, held via Zoom, starts at 7.30pm and Tim Greene, trustee of Sustaining Dunbar, is independently chairing the meeting.
Then on Thursday (April 15), eight candidates from different parties will attend a virtual hustings for South Scotland regional MSPs.
Cynthia Guthrie (Alba), George Galloway (All For Unity), Brian Whittle (Conservative), Laura Moodie (Green), Ian Davidson (Labour), Jenny Marr (Liberal Democrat), Stef Johnstone (Scottish Libertarian Party) and Emma Harper (SNP) will attend the meeting, which starts at 7.30pm.
A total of 16 parties are fielding candidates on the South Scotland list at the Scottish Parliament election on May 6.
The Rev Diana Hall, rector of St Anne’s Church, Dunbar, chairs the hustings.

To ask a question, members of the public need to pre-register at dunbarhustings2021.eventbrite.com and live in the Dunbar and East Linton ward. Members of the public are also asked to make it clear which session their question is intended for.
