QUEUES appeared outside Tesco in Haddington yesterday as the number of people allowed in at any one time was restricted.
Inside the store, yellow and black tape has been placed on the floor every two metres to give customers an idea of the space people need to give each other to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Tape is also used at checkouts, with customers advised to stay behind it until it is their turn to be served.
A number of supermarkets are putting in similar measures to help people shop safely during the coronavirus outbreak.
