Dunbar Sea Cadets' boat has been recovered in Ayrshire
A BOAT stolen from a club in Dunbar has been found in Ayrshire.
It was stolen from Dunbar Sea Cadets during July and has now been found in North Ayrshire.
A message posted by police on Facebook said: "After a number of social media appeals, this boat has been found!
"It was recovered in Largs, North Ayrshire, after some excellent joint work with our colleagues in the west.
"The Sea Cadets are delighted to have their boat back, and we're following a positive line of enquiry."
The RIB was stolen from premises on North Road sometime between 9.30pm on Tuesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 14.
Anyone with any information on the theft can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
